About our courses
Stand Up And Deliver's Absolute & Almost Beginners comedy courses in LONDON are usually on 12 weekday evenings, or 8 afternoons on Saturdays or Sundays.
Occasionally these are delivered in 'Intensive/Compact' format over four weekends which are popular with people who live a long way from London, as well as those who can't commit to attending for two or three months, or are want to complete a quality course in record-breaking time!
In August 2008 there will be ACME Comedy Writing Course, during the Edinburgh Fringe
Saturday 16 to Friday 22 August: course of SEVEN sessions (noon to 3pm)
- A brilliant opportunity to improve your comedy and joke-writing skills, including stand-up, sketches, sitcoms, improv etc. Led by experienced Comedy Store and BAFTA-winning comedians/writers, visiting producers, and special guests such as Barry Cryer explaining about writing for other comedians.
- It is strongly recommended that this course is not undertaken by anyone who hasn't performed material they have written/created, either as stand-up or in sketches.

In 2009 there will be an Absolute & Almost Beginners course in Edinburgh in late August, for five days at the end of the Fringe.
OTHER COURSES:
- During the winter we usually run 'Take Your Show To The Fringe' seminars
- Very occasionally we produce courses in
comedy writing (from creating jokes right through to sitcoms etc), and
compering.
It is strongly recommended that these are not undertaken by people who haven't performed material they have written/created, either as stand-up or in sketches.
- From time to time there are Comedy Development courses for graduates of Absolute and Almost Beginners courses, who want help in developing further. This course builds on the beginners course, and also includes a seminar about self-promotion etc.
